Cosmos Immigration is looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable Migration Counsellor to join our team. The Migration Counsellor will provide clients with expert advice on immigration options, assist with application processes, and support clients through their transition to a new country. This role requires strong knowledge of immigration laws and procedures, excellent communication skills, and a client-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Consultation:
   • Conduct one-on-one consultations to understand clients' immigration needs and goals.
   • Provide comprehensive information on various immigration programs, visa options, and requirements.
2. Application Assistance:
   • Assist clients in preparing and submitting complete and accurate immigration applications.
   • Review and verify all documentation to ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations.
3. Case Management:
   • Develop and manage individualized immigration plans for clients.
   • Monitor application progress and provide clients with regular updates.
4. Support Services:
   • Offer support and guidance to clients throughout the immigration process, addressing any concerns or challenges.
   • Provide post-arrival assistance to help clients settle into their new country, including information on housing, education, and employment.
5. Documentation and Compliance:
   • Maintain detailed records of client interactions, application statuses, and outcomes.
   • Ensure all applications and client interactions comply with current immigration laws, policies, and ethical standards.
6. Research and Knowledge Management:
   • Stay informed about changes in immigration laws, policies, and procedures.
   • Continuously update and manage resources to provide clients with the most accurate and up-to-date information.
7. Outreach and Networking:
   • Build and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, including immigration authorities, community organizations, and educational institutions.
   • Represent Cosmos Immigration at community events, seminars, and other relevant functions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, International Relations, Social Work, or a related field.
• Proven experience in immigration consulting, case management, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of immigration laws, policies, and application procedures.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Empathy and the ability to work with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant immigration software.
• Certification in immigration consulting or a related field is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Typical office environment, with occasional travel to meet clients or attend community events.
• May require evening or weekend hours to accommodate clients' schedules.
